i have already gone thru 2 engine and yesterday was my third. idk why this one was never abused or a anything. the car was driving fine all day and around 7 me my mom and sister decide to go get somethign to eat so i go to turn the car i open the wait a second and try to turn in on an i hear the engine turn and loud pop. then i give it another go and it turnd on but sounds like **** and shortly after turns off. give it another go and this time it immediatly turns off. what gives man it like my car doenst loves me lol. ive decided not to even try to fix anymore and maybe part it out, if anyone localy is not interested in it like that. and i had just installed the ls1 driveshaft new dash pad i was planning on selling but not like this lol.

Its hard to tell whats wrong from your description.

Was the noise an internal engine noise?

    Any check engine lights?

How was the oil pressure when it was running?

What does the oil look like?

    Is there spark?

    Fuel?

    Battery got 12.6 volts?

This is going to come out wrong no matter how I say it, so I'm just going all in.

Your english is probably as good as how well you take care of your car. Aweful. I have beat the **** out of my v6 firebird for 50k miles and shes still running strong. You have to be doing something wrong to be going through engines like that. Or you just shouldn't be behind the wheel of any car at all.

            DOUCHE hahaha.
Dude if you keep going through engines like this either you dont have enough water, or not enough oil.
Mine overheated and spun a bearing at 80,000 miles. Replaced the engine and its been running like new ever since. Now im boosting it.

                i would agree on this.

i dont beat on my car, but the engine still runs like new after almost 150,000 miles.

the only problems i have ever had with my engine itself was something i caused, or a sensor.

from what i have seen, most engines are pretty damn tough, i mean the SBC can run what.. almost 2 hours with NO oil or coolant before it seizes up?

the 3.8 is a really good engine, and has been in the top 10 engine list a few times IIRC, you can just beat on then and beat on them and they will keep going until the rings finally give up.. of course this is with proper maintenance.

when i had my oil pan off, my engine was so clean, looked practically new with no sludge at all.. oil change every 3000 miles

Re: im done with my camaro

There's probably a problem that's not in any of the engines you replaced... computer, cooling system, exhaust who knows... what caused you to have to replace the previous engines? If the problems are even remotely similar to each other then you've got a bug somewhere that's not directly engine related that's causing these issues...
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
                  Custom interior...

I'm wondering what you're doing to your car?

Are you maintaining it well and keeping up with the schedule, fluids, and such. I mean 3 engine is a definite flag for me. I mean whose to say you're not going to do the same to the next car.

I'm sorry, not trying to be mean or anything. I just want to help.

All in or not, this **** ends. Everyone has gotten frustrated with their car at SOME point in their life, I don't care who you are. The OP is no different in this case. If you want to be a complete and utter *******, do it somewhere else. Even I will call someone out, but this is just being douchebaggish.

X2, when I started modding my car I blew all kinds of gaskets and whatnot, it took alot of work to keep it maintained and plus trying to mod it but 14 years later with 170,XXX miles and being the original owner its still going well. Calling people out and making it worse is not on this site its the next one down on the search screen, this site promotes to helping people rather than being quote" douchebaggish". OP just ask your questions and see if their is something your missing or over looked, then you can fix it and be done with it. I learned alot the hard way, having 100,000 mile warranty with my Dad working as a Service Manager for GM at the time saved me alot on labor and parts.

With all the bull**** I've put up with my car 3 trannys, a drive shaft, a rear end, fuel pump, and a few other retarded things I have had to put up with I still have my car.

Id rather drive my car than go buy a Honda. If your going to get rid of your car just consider your budget and options, most of the time its better to just keep it and deal with it. I know with how much money i've invested in my car I would be paying roughly the same as a Lotus Esprit.:twak:

Im going to go out on a limb and ask how competent the guy who installed all 3 engines is? As stated, what was wrong with the previous engines? did the guy who installed the engine for you just pop it in and not bother to investigate what the issue was? These motors are super reliable, so were gunna need more info
