I no longer want a 16-17 seconds but a car that can beat a stock civic si easily....What kind of money does it involves?! I got a 5 speed forget the shift kit and the stall converter..
i think that intake/exhaust/header and a 3,73 gear are a great start...but this is enough to be in the 15?!
A lot of money and work. I just finished a mild rebuild of my 3.4, and was expecting a big difference but it wasnt. just a little more torque and smoothness when accelerating
If you can get some good runs out of it.. I see 15s with LSD, 3.73s intake and exhaust.

There are plenty of things to do to the 3.4L V6 for more power. Most beneficial would be the heads/cam but you need a lot more before digging into all that. You should obviously start with exhaust and intake work. Pulleys are a nice mod too when starting out.

Arent cams semi-useless in a 3.4 since there isnt really any good tuning software out there? For the 3.8 its a completley diff story. You would get gains out of it, but not as much as what you would expect. Correct me if im wrong.

Is 20-30 or more extra Horsepower Worthless to you? Not in my books! I have a 3.4L and when I rebuild my engine.....Soon....I firmly belive a decent Cam will help a bunch. I have almost decided upon CompCams for a camshaft myself, but they come in different flavors as well.
the problem is that the only tunning avalible is mail order and they can do basic stuff (gears, top speed, intake, exhaust, timing, ect) but they won't do any major fuel table tuning and the more advanced things because they do not know what the car needs because they have no experence with the 3.4, we need someone that is willing to spend some time on a dyno and burn a chip then run the car then tweek the program and burn another chip and so on and so forth till they get it right, but you will find no one willing to do this because the market isn't big enought to spend that kind of time doing this, and if you do your going to spend a fortune to make it worth their time

^ X2 , ken is wise
there is no good tuning our there unless you take it into your own hands and get a stand alone system
240 WHP is not that impressive with this motor IMHO.. especially if thats on the bottle
Hello every one, ozzy here ive been looking at this page for weeks now finally joined. So my question is why is it that every turbo build forum just ends...
Just ordered some Toyo 315/35/17 tires for my 17x11 rims. Hopefully I can get them on the beginning of next year. Will post pics.
