This wiring is starting to get to me. I should just send the harnesses to speartech and tell them to make it happen. But I believe they only do plug and play with the engine harness..
Sounds like I'll just have to find a Camaro Body harness instead of TA and go from there..

I really don't understand why people swap out body harnesses.. body harnesses don't control the engine, they control things like head lights, radio, doors, hatch, lights, etc. etc.
The only reason places recomend you swap otu the body harness is because older harnesses like ours don't have the same provissions for EVAP.

Ok...here's my reasoning I'm swapping out the Body harness.
And the answer is...
LS1 Gauge cluster!
I bought a whole new dash assembly just so I can fit the new gauge cluster. I don't like the 94 gauges (I have the 150 mph one installed right now). I also heard there would be many many problems with wiring to that gauge cluster..having everything work. And, my current cluster doesn't have the digital odometer/tripometer, so I'm not sure how that would be affected either.
I believe your 97 V6 cluster is a lot different than mine,,so maybe you didn't have many problems. Keep in mind, I have a 94.

My guess is that you'll need 2 sets of detailed wiring diagrams w/color codes to do some cross-referencing. One diagram for your stock v6 3.4L 1994 Camaro and the other wiring diagram for whichever year Camaro the 'Ls1 gauge cluster' came out of. The diagram for the 'Ls1 gauge cluster-Camoro' should tell you how/where the wires, for each individual gauge, tap into in order for each gauge to function. Would prob be easier to do than replacing the entire 'body harness.'
I'll look back at you all when I'm done rewiring the entire car and laugh!
Keith, one question for you. I don't know everything about HPTuners and what you guys do...do you just sell programmers, or can you do custom PCM programming by sending it in? I'm getting ready to send my PCM to Ed Wright to have VATS taken out, along with the governor, speedo/tach adjustments for my gears, and possibly for an aftermarket cam. Do you offer that service, or do you just sell your products?

Hello every one, ozzy here ive been looking at this page for weeks now finally joined. So my question is why is it that every turbo build forum just ends...
Just ordered some Toyo 315/35/17 tires for my 17x11 rims. Hopefully I can get them on the beginning of next year. Will post pics.
