I saw your website with the info. from your LS1 swap. I am researching it for myself, but if I do the swap I would prefer to switch to an auto. tranny. How much more work would that add?? And if you would have worked on the swap every day, would you have been able to finish in 2 weeks or less?? Thanks.

Hi, can you please change your topic and add LS1 swap or somethign in there so its a little more specific? thanks.
If you work on it every day for 2 weeks you could DEFINATELY have it done.
Hmm.. to convert to an auto... You'll have a hole in the center section of the car that you need to seal up. You'll need the whole automatic shifter console portion.
Ditch the clutch stuff.
You may have to wire up a brake switch.. but it might already be wired up because of cruise control. The brake switch tells the PCM when to release the converter clutch.
Aside from that it'd be pretty straight forward. I don't see any huge problems that would prevent you from doing this.
The wiring harness... pcm/engine/tranny is 1 big package and drops in, you just need to supply the PCM with a brake signal and that's about it. THe shifter linkeage goes directly to the trans. That's the major differences between auto and manual cars.

Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
