Well im going to do my cam install in two weeks, but i have one last question. I know that there is alot of gaskets that need to be replaced whille doing such an install. (ie water pump, timing chain cover, fuel pump, oil pan, valve cover). Anyway... I know that they are sold in Cam instll kits for the v8 does anybody know if the make it for the v6 as well, and if so where to get it from?

Get the GM part number for your car (at the dealer) and order it from GMParts direct.
They have gasket kits for this specific thing.
ZZP sent me a whole mess of wrong crap. Be careful.
I do happen to have an L67 supercharger gasket, if someone needs one!
EDIT - You don't need an oil pan gasket, despite what they tell you.1997 Chevrolet Camaro v6 - 13.8@104MPH

Yeah i think the ZZP gasket kit is for FWD 3.8's which do indeed have different intake manifolds as well as other things. Best bet is to pickup a gasket kit part # from your local dealer and order through Gmpartsdirect. I had the part # but cant seem to find it atm. So yeah, exactly what AZ said.

I just did a CAM install and I used the ZZPerformance install kit for the L36 motor. They were perfect. Don't remove the throttle body or the water pump and you won't need those gaskets. They don't come in the kit but you don't need them. I had to get those seperatly because I had a P&P job done on the intake so I removed the TB.
The only problem I had was the crank shaft bolt was wrong. I got the right one from GM. I told ZZPerformance about the bolt so hopefully they have corrected the problem. You also do not really need valve cover gaskets unless yours are currently leaking. They are neoprene and reuseable.
I know this stuff is logged somewhere but here is a list I made a long time ago for parts and numbers. Double check the numbers as GM changes them sometimes.
