Center Console

has anyone put a 98-02 center console in a 93-97 camaro??? i know its possible but does anyone have pics??? ive heard it leaves a slight gap between the head unit and the console. i wanna see if it looks good or not.

camaro there is a gap, if you intall the 97+ console in it.

it is about 2" or so..

Firebirds, its a perfect swap, to my understanding.. I have a 98 console in my attic..

i just did it tonight actually... it doent look too terrible... but its definatly noticable.. img oing to get some carpet that matches or somthing try and cover it up... i dunno really havnt had enough time to think of ideas.. BUT its soooo worth it.. the console is 10000000 times better... 4 cup holders not 1 , a nice console lid that wont break unless you want it to, and a little more space inside the console... 2 cig lighters... so worth it..

i think i might do this swap eventually. ill prolly make a switch box that fits in the gap for my neons. but that console is definitely better.

it also is a good time to swap in a firebird dash ;)
