  • rear seat delete

well alot of people have been asking me to post up the rear seat delete pics now that it's finished. all that i'm doing now is putting a sub right between the 2 seats and maybe putting "camaro" on there somewhere. so anyways here you go.

I almost want to do it after seeing that one... but I'll restrain myself. Maybe if I ever go with stupidly large subs...

Just wondering, what is the purpose of taken out your rear seats? Is it just for a different kind of look or less weight added on to race at the track?

            Peace,

well it's less weight, plus it hides my nitrous bottle. and i always have to be different.

Yep different is good Kristen and sounds like good enough reasons for me. I was just curious, personally I wouldn't with my car but thats what makes us all different. Keep up the good work Kristen!

                  Wow that's huge!

blkbird2001 it doesn't really save much weight because the seats themselves don't weigh but...15 lbs or so if that. I did a seat delete because I converted to leather, and at the time couldn't find any rear seats. I didn't want it to be bare, but I also didn't want to leave the cloth in, so thus was born the delete kit..

Eric Head you can make your own delete kit in just a few hours, spending less than $20 or so from Home Depot...it's just a matter of making a good pattern and then screwing it all together.
