Just Hood Stripes?

Hello all,

I just wanted to ask for your opinions on this idea: What if I were to put just the hood stripes on my [1996] camaro? It's black btw. I was thinking about stripes and at one point concluded that they were a bit too loud--but then i thought about just having the hood stripes. I got the idea from firebirds and how some have the firebird on the hood and nothing else--to me its like just enough flare, not too much. So what do you guys think?

Never seen it done but I would try and photoshop it first.

Thanks for the input; how about this, and i know its gonna sound stupid but its 6 in the morning and oh well--what about black stripes on my black car, lol. i've seen a trans am with black reflective vinyl decals [firebird] and it was pretty cool. So, would you guys crucify me if i put black stripes on a black car?
