  • Hard clank noise during shift

Hey whats up fellas, I have a 1998 A4 3800 Camaro. Everything on the car is stock with almost 79000 miles on it. For the past couple of months or so, every once in a while I would totaly let off the gas and the car would shift, but its a hard shift or something and its towards the back of the car. I don't think its supposed to sound like that and you can feel it.

    Any impressions? solutions? thanks.

I was just reading this repair manual book on the car and it shows something about a speed sensor hooked up to the transmission. Well if it does then there must be a problem because I noticed that my my speedometer has a delay about 2 seconds from when I accelerate and decelerate. And this happened not so long ago either. I dunno I will figure it out.

hey it's a good excuse to start upgrading needlessly. In the end your car will hopefully run better and a lot stronger.
