Not on my car but on my friends 01 z28. His outer 194 bulbs were blown out so I replaced them for him. Worked. And the next day both were burnt out again. Any ideas?

Are the marker lights or license plate light having any problems? Based on the Hayne's wiring diagram, there is no reason the 194s in the tail lights should be getting any more power than any of the other tail lights. -

same was happening to me what i did was remove the bulb and clean the inside of the socket with some rubbing alcohol to remove the corrosion and its been fine sinceComment

^^ That was my only thought; that the sockets could be the problem. It seems a bit strange that both would begin doing the same thing at the same time, but it's worth a shot.Comment
