Arite...im lookin to replace all the speakers in my monsoon system. Basically wat are the best speakers for a moderatly cheap price. Im sure I can search for the sizes and everything I need but im lazy, anyone wanna post the sizes ill need?! I dont kno much bout car audio..lol thanks alot
keN
Front speakers are 6 3/4"
Speakers next to rear seats are 6 3/4"
Speakers under the hatch are 4"
Most 6 1/2" speakers will fit into the 6 3/4" holes. If the particular speakers you buy do not fit, crutchfield has adapters. ($12/pair)
What do you consider a moderatly cheap price? The sky is the limit. From $50 on up to thousands. Yes, just for one pair of speakers. Search Ebay for "Focal 165K". These would go in your front doors. Is that too expensive? Or could you afford something better? If that's too much, search for "Focal 165A". Are you also looking for sub(s) and amp(s)? Check out www.subthump.com for a box.
Also, check out this thread for more f-body related car audio.
There are lots of great speakers out there. Personally, I would go with some infinity components in the front and infinity 2-3 way speakers for mids. I would also get an amp to get the best sound out of the speakers.
