    aftermarket fog lights...update...

    I bought some aftermarket fog lights for my firebird... cuz i uhhh melted my stock ones.

    anywho... i need some help i haven't really looked at the wires for the stock ones yet but is it setup as simple as (+) positive and (-) negative wires?? cuz thats what these new ones have coming out the back a positive and negative wire. Will it be an easy cut and splice or what?

    ANY HELP is appreciated!!

    THANKS IN ADVANCE.... Responses by tomorrow afternoon is MUCH appreciated cuz that's when i plan on takin on this task....

    According to my wiring schematics.

    + = Purple

    - = Black

    It should all just cut and connect right in.

    What lights did you get? Im looking for a set myself.

      i hope i dont get shocked or ruin my electrical system lol

      here's the lights i got, off ebay... cheap generic.. ill let u know how good they are...
      (i didn't go for anything expensive because i am selling the car sometime in august)

          Seriously, I don't think you'll have any trouble at all with the wiring. It really is easy.

              Melted light fixtures out, new ones in!

              The wiring was quick and easy, the only ***** was taking the fixtures out and fitting the new ones in.

              THey look great!! When night rolls around and my battery is recharged...coughcough****ingmusiccoughcough
              i will light'er up and take some pictures for ya'll to feast on...

              Ight, off to plug my car in to recharge.

                alright i just saw them at night....
                i had to buy a new ****ing battery too, my old battery corroded... weird

                anywho.. its night and its AWESOME!!
                they look great
                really bright it really helps with those crappy headlights we birds have....
                pictures hopefully sometime tomorrow
