Ok i Have a completely after market steroe setup i got a sony mini disc head unit, 2 pioneers in the front, 2 kickers in the back, and now where the problems relys, 2 bazooka 12' subs running on a 900 watt rockford fosgate amp with a monster cap on 12 gauge wires. the problem is thatthe stupid crap shuts off by its self sometimes like ther isnt enough power for it cuz even mah battery meter drops below half, the funny thing is I have an optima battery and a 180 amp alternator! n e help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does your car sit and idle a lot, like in stop and go traffic? If so you could try an overdrive pulley for the alt to keep it up to speed, even when below 1000rpm.
