  • Question about ground loop isolator

So I'm powering my speakers with a 4-channel 600 watt amp and I have some alternator noise. If I were to get a ground loop isolator, I would have to get two of them; one for the front and one for the rear outputs on my HU right?

No I didn't... the RCA's are running alon the top trip of the door and the power is running along the carpt. I'm just gonna go pick a couple up today and see how they work. Thanks for the help guys.

make sure your ground is nice and tight. And beure you sanded down the area down to the bare metal where ever it is you grounded.

Where is a good place to ground my amps? I grounded it on that mount that holds the trunk clap thing right underneath the carpet.

double check the grounds, and if necessary, run a ground wire from the deck to the amps, to your main ground, to make sure they are all on the same ground plane.

I had to do that once, don't know why, i tested everything else, messed with the 0-scope for hours, and that finally fixed it.
