well theres enough room in our cars to put an aftermarket headunit...then instead of a blanking plate put the equalizer there...thats how its done on my friends eclipse...looks cool

u'd put the equalizer beneath a single din head unit. there's an attachment u can buy that will allow the equalizer and head unit to be attached to each other. in a 1 1/2 din opening like ours.

I think i may have been misunderstood. I meant what r ur eq settings like what r ur dials positioned at. I want to find the best combonation of like how high to put the bass and etc.

Its like the earlier poster said - depnds on what you're listening to.

I'm listen to a wide variety of music genre's and artists, so I'm constantly fiddling with the EQ. In addition, I hate how talk radio guys boost the bass, so I usually cut the lower ranges way back when listening to talk programs.

There is no 'best' EQ setting. It doesn't even really depend on what type of stuff you listen to. What it all comes down to is what YOU like best. Play something that you're familiar with and if it sounds a little off, tweak it some.
