I just got m new alpine system installed and it rocks . im thinking of putting type-r components in it next. my q come into play here if i get the xomponent do i need another amp to run them or how does it run ?

You COULD run them off the HU, but it is always better to run a good amp to them. Try and match the amps output to the RMS/Peak power handling with the speakers power handling.

Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
