Ok, I see people buying these custom boxes and all sorts of stuff. So I figured Id post what Ive done cause I like it.
http://ooroo.50megs.com/MVC-029F.JPG copy paste it. that was take during some install stuff while just doing general wiring. The Bazooka ( triangle in the trunk Isnt mine and I didnt keep ) the RT box with the JBL in it is mine.
What I did with mine - sorry for not having an actual pic. was I placed it where you see the Bazooka is wedged. I wedged it there and it fires down. If you've done this you know it sounds much louder than it does firing up By far. about 2x louder depending on the sub. + if you want to use ur T-tops u can put it where it is in the pic. I recommed downfiring it into the trunk wedged like I have it to everyone with an Fbody- My box has enver moved when I place it in the trunk, I just drop it in and it stays and comes right out- Even doing 360ºs and such it stays there. Better than the custom boxes Ive heard. Just wanted to show ppl if they never thought about it.
My 2ndary set up is in the spare tire location http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...=281637&page=2
that I liked a lot the only reason I took it out was cause its louder by a small amount downfiring in the back
