i get power to tha amp and it doesnt go into protect or any thing, it still moves the subs but they dont hit hard at all, and it seems like there getting pulled in when the bass hits instead of getting pushed out, whats wrong with it?

    Re: amp problems

sounds like you might have the polarities wrong, as in your + from the amp is on the - if the speaker and vice versa with the negative. try switching them.

why kind of amp mono, 2 channel, 3/4 channel? also what kind of subs single or dvc? if dvc, how are you wiring them series or parallel?

      Re: amp problems

i dont think thats the problem, ive done that before it sounds funny but idk, it seems like they are being pulled in and hitting really wierd they move an make noise but not loud and they dont hit hard at all, its a mono i had two kenwood typhoons wired to one ohm werked fine fer a year, but they blew about a week ago, it pulls in all the subs i hook up to it so im sure sumthing is wrong with tha amp it really sucks

        Re: amp problems

hmm...that does sound like an odd problem. its obviously not the polarities or the sub if youve tried multiple subs. where did you get the amp, any warranty on it?

ikesound has a return policy, did you just get the amp? if so i would contact them asap. i think they offer a 1 year warranty too.
