well i have 2 alpine type r subs they are both 12" AND i have 2 mrd-m301 which put out 350w at 2 ohms if i have 2 of these amps can i bridge them together ??? and will these power the type R's

First, are the subs dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm? Model number? SWR-1242D or something similar....
Chances are great that you WILL be able to use both amps. One for each subwoofer. I have done the same. Check my sig for pics. -

that mrd-m301 is to small .it made for type e's .if u go with that set up .your amp will cilp all day . save up for a mrd-m1005 it is 1000w X1 @ 2omhs ,700w X1 @ 4 omhs .u can get a 4 omh load .u can not get a 2 omh load .(with one amp ) they will be at 2omhs with two ampsLast edited by dustybird; 06-19-2006, 04:51 PM.Comment
