I was thinking about changing out the SPEAKER in the existing subwoofer enclosure. The amp is fine, but i'm not too impressed with the bass of the speaker. I was looking at the speaker when it was pumping, and it looks like the suspension is about to go. Is there a better speaker out there that would get better bass than the bose by just swapping out the speaker?

Re: Replacing the bose subwoofer..?
You may get a new aftermarket sub for the system, but you really are not going to notice much difference without useing a new enclosure, and amplifier, the Bose system is nothing more than a name slapped on a crappy amp, and some cheap speakers built for some half decent enclosures in some cases.
You could do it if the sub is really going bad, but if its not "bad" I wouldn't bother. Really don't think it would be worth it.1995 Camaro 3.4 A4

CAI,IAT Relocate
