Well I finally got my sub hooked up this weekend. I am running a 10" Alpine type R in a subthump stealth box (thanks to PewterBird) powered by a 600W Pioneer amp. My first impression is extremely positive. This is the first system I have ever put together and I am really pleased. All I have to do now is build my amp rack, which should not be too hard. Thanks to all who gave me advice.

stealth boxes can put out some impressive bass. you should be happy with it, i'm very pleased with mine. -
