auto shifter light

does any1 no if there is a light that lights up the auto shifter (park,drive,etc...) in a 2000 bird?

2.) Yes there is a light there. It falls out constanly for me, esp. after i take my console apart. Possibly you took it apart and forgot to hook it back in.

3.) There is a write up on how to replace them with LED's. Not sure where it is.

yea their is and its really easy to change.....when you locate the bulb which will be in an are where the 1st gear is under the console, then you have to grab whatever its called that holds the bulb, and twist left or right to get it loose (but dont overtwist cuz its just needs about a 90-180 degree turn) and then pull it out, then just pull out the bulb and then put then new one in and put it back in.......man i should have done LED's....in murrays you can look up the bulbs yourself

Not much in the way of step by step instructions, but its all pretty much self explainatory once you get in there. Did mine in blue and it looks SWEET at night!! :cool:
