My Hayne's says there is a fuse and a relay between the indicating light and the fogs. Either you have your brights on, your fuse or relay is faulted, or bulbs are faulted or not hooked up.

yeah Idk if its the relay or not because they wont come on at all, I want to check to see if they're hooked up and if the bulbs are good
When I got the car, my fog light relay was bad and the fogs wouldn't turn on. I don't remember for sure, but I do think the foglight switch still illuminated.
my switch lights up, they just didnt come on. i shopped for fog's for a long time, til one day at Will's i figured out that the wires were just tied together inside my front bumper cover lol, before any money is spent, make sure theyre hooked up
btw, where the heck do i hook these things up, anyway?

Yeah I tested that out this morning, and the switch was dark after I turned the brights on. This means it's after the relay.
The only thing I think the relay is for, is to turn the fogs off when the brights are on. To make sure your setup is the same, turn on the brights and see if the switch light goes out. If it does, then it's your bulbs damaged/not hooked up. If it doesn't go out, it could be the relay, bulbs damaged/not hooked up.

Alright, I'll try that tomorrow after I help my dad put the toolbox on his truck, thanks man
have you even checked the bulbs yet? when i first got my 94 both bulbs were blown, but the switch would light up when turned on. i replaced the bulbs (which are a severe PITA) and everything works like normal.
start with the simple solutions, like checking bulbs and fuses before tearing into wiring and replacing switches and relays. also, like everyones saying the fogs will not illuminate when the high beams are on. theyre wired like that from the factory.
foggy headlights? wetsand... buff... WAX!!! if nissan motorsports is nismo does that mean honda motorsports is homo?

Yeah I know about the high beam thing, I havent checked the bulbs because its been raining. As soon as I check the bulbs i'll check the relay. The switch is fine as far as I know, it lights up on both when it iluminates and then when you flip it on the little light indicator that tells you the lights are on comes on.
figured out what it was, it was so simple yet I didnt think to check it ...... the lights arent connected, the wires are taped to the light themselves lol ..... anyone wanna help me out with a how to on hooking them up?? Gives me something to do while im waiting for the brake parts to come in.
lol that's a good one. Usually there's a plug and socket? I'm confused a little bit as to what's taped where now that I realize it isn't as easy as that. If there's just stripped wires you're gonna need a new plug/pigtail. I dunno what everyone calls them but at my work we call em pigtails.

I dont know I didnt look my friend did, I was too disgusted to look. Knowing it was infront of me and I didnt see lol Oyw I'll check and get back to ya
