I'll explain something..
I'm 95 percent guarrented to get 20k for graduation, my car is worth 8k and i will make about 15k untill graduation. And i am also 95 percent sure to get a full ride to texas or another d1 school for swimming. My parents have agreed to give me the money and pay for food and living expense's. So i guess i have four years of college and about 35k to spend on whatever the hell i want. I really dont need to save the money bc i'm actually pretty smart and i have a really nice job allready.

Why not buy some land or a house instead of spending it all on your car. That is a lot of money that could go towards something better than just all in a car, sure you will have a sweet car, but thats about it. I would invest it in something more worthwhile.

Or you could buy a house and rent it out to people and make even more money and be a better investment than your car, and still get money from the rentals to buy things for the car

LS1 with simple bolt-ons beats option #2 and you have way more room to grow. Unlike option #2. Just get a single turbo LS1 if you want turbo so bad. Twins are a waste of money.

Or you can just do LS1 with heads/cam/converter/headers and run low 11s like many have done.

Yes, ive thought about all the other options. Im pretty sure a lot of it is going into my car. I will easily be able to get a house outta college cause i will more than likely have a great job and if i dont my parents are friggin rich.

Don't DARE waste all of that money on a car. Save it for a house, or at least go through a year of college before spending it all. THings change a BOATLOAD in school, and you'll probably not leave campus much the first year, i.e.. you DONT need a car at school.

And you wont want to be driving around at 150 mph in a souped up car if you're swimming, you'll want to be hanging out with teammates in the pool.

First off, i figured you guys would ***** at me about "wasting" money which is why i didnt explain any of it in the beginning. Maybe i will wait to spend the money. Right now 20k is something im extremely looking forward to. i may wait untill a year or two into college to decide the best way to spend it for myself, or i might just go by my self an 02 trans am. i dont know. I guess i just wanted some ideas of what other people would do with it.I wont be living off my parents in any way more than likely. Its not like im not going to have a job all through college. Also The 20k comes from killing myself in the pool every day at 5:30 and saving my parents a lot of money by getting college paid for by myself.

*whine* *whine* Alot of people do that without their parents having any money at all. Some are born with silver spoons in their mouth.. others like yourself didn't come out headfirst so the spoon got stuck somewhere else. I made plans before college and trust me, nothing ever works out like you think it will. Your still a little kid whether you think you are or not. Save the money, sit on it, invest it , do something non car related. If you really want to do something with your car then buy a v8 and sit on the rest.
