thinking about getting a turbo????

ok i have been deciding whether or not to keep my nitrous or sell it and get a turbo.

If i were to buy piece by piece of ebay everything needed for a turbo set up Except for the piping about how much would it run me...and how hard would it be to have custom piping bent for the turbo??

I have looked on ebay and i can get a brand new T3/T4 turbo, Intercooler and intercooler piping and BOV for under 1 grand...all brand new

for a good turbo (with internal wastegate) about 400-500
For a good intercooler 300-600
bov 10-200
fmu 80-200
Fuel pump 80-150
quality external wastegate 150+

you can do the math but it was going to cost me about 2k in parts for the twin turbo kit before piping.

As for getting piping made its not hard but can be expensive. Expect to spend over 1k on the piping if you have someone else do it. Also i would recomend a t4 turbo over the hybrid, the hybrid is a little small imo but it depends on what you are wanting out the the setup.

i would just get a T4 and run like 6/7 PSI....not looking for anything huge power wise and put my motor in jepordy but just a good power adder...plus i love the sounds on the turbos spooling up
