Door handle help

Okay guys on my drvrs side the door handle is coming off and I noticed that the car doesn't lock or unlock itself with my remote. Also the door handle doesn't open the car. My question is I see the rod and how to connect it to the handle so I got that much, but how do I tighten the door handle back down. What kind of screws go there, and whats the best tool to tighten it with?

Interior or Exterior door handle?

Unable to lock/unlock, check fuses first, then check BCM.

I don't believe there is anything you can "tighten up". Once it breaks, it usually breaks, in my experience.

Its not really broken the handle is off the rod and the screws that hold the handle in are of so I can just pull the handle up. It's not really broken it just needs to be put back into place
