any clue on how much it costs to replace an ignition column on the 2000 fbodies? Mine's sticking and had a locksmith just use WD-40 on it and said that's all he could do for me. Thanks

Are you serious? A 2000 and your ignition is going out already? Are you sure it's just not the steering wheel lock? I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but that seems to puzzle a lot of people. After removing the key, if you turn the wheel it will lock. Then when you re-insert the key, it won't turn unless you turn the wheel a little bit. I'm not entirely sure what you're speaking of meaning your ignition sticks....??? I would think with a 2000 it would still be covered under warranty.Nitrous is like a hot chick with an STD....you wanna hit it, but you\'re affraid of the consequences...

http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=244935

If you have an automatic and the key sticks in the ignition then you have to adjust a thing under the shifter plate. You can find it on this board by searching for it.98 Bright Red Camaro
Too many mods to list....check my website

ya the bad boy sticks in the 'on' position when i try to shut the engine down. had the locksmith come out and take a look, he lubed it up with WD40 and said that's all he can do with our ignitions. Unfortunatly the warrenty ran out a month ago, but i think my insurance will cover it. the locksmith said the ignition alone costs around 400 bucks, not sure about install costs, ugh!2000 Y87 Bird M5 with mods
http://www.vzavenue.net/~ngeorg/
