So my car overheated and after checking it out I found the coolant leaking from the heater hose that comes from the intake. I went to the dealer to find the part but its $172 for the hose assembly. I don't need everything, just to fix that hose. Is there a cheaper way to fix it or anywhere online that I can just get that hose cheaper?

Re: car overheated
Really common problem with the L-shaped tube that connects that hose to the lower manifold. You can find it in the HELP section in the back of most Autozones.www.fullthrottlev6.com
www.chitownracing.com

Re: car overheated
Its not the l shaped tube I've already replaced those before. Its the hose that go on where the tensioner is located. I tried Autozone but they don't carry that hose.www.fbodyelpaso.org A4 stock 3.42 and LSD not Y87,SLP cold air induction, whisper lid, k&n filter, flowmaster 80 series, hypertech, 160 powerstat thermostat, t/a front bumper, functional nostrils, pacesetter headers best et: 15.9 at about 4800ft

Re: car overheated
ebay may be your only online option.

They say they have them in stock for the 3.8l so you are going to have to send them a message through ebay. Hope this helps.

Re: car overheated
is it leaking at the connector or is the hose busted?? cause if its the connector then you can just go to auto zone or the like and they have an assortment of O-rings that you can replace.Team NoVa

Re: car overheated
Its leaking at the connector. I'm waiting til payday to buy it but if I can fix it without replacing it all that would be great.www.fbodyelpaso.org A4 stock 3.42 and LSD not Y87,SLP cold air induction, whisper lid, k&n filter, flowmaster 80 series, hypertech, 160 powerstat thermostat, t/a front bumper, functional nostrils, pacesetter headers best et: 15.9 at about 4800ft
