    my car was parked on the street tonight, some lady hit it...front quarter panel is pretty scratched up, might be dented (hard to tell in the dark), somehow an almost perfect square piece of fiberglass on the door was ripped off, and the front tire doesn't turn with the steering wheel, but the guy who towed it could move it with his hands...he thought it could be something with a control arm or something like that
    anyone else have a similar problem before?

    its is probably a busted control arm, the arm that comes from the steering box to the wheel...

      I mean no disrespect, but:

      The arm that goes from the steering box to the upright (that the wheel attaches to) is the tie rod.

      Control arms go from the upright to the chassis.

      If the wheel is not at a crazy angle it's probably the tie rod. If it is, it's probably a control arm.
