When I was seafoming the Camaro the other day I noticed that when I unplugged the vacuum line from the break booster, the car wanted to die as opposed to the idle jumping up. I did the same to my BMW the same day and when I unplugged it the Idle was almost steady at 2300 RPMs. My buddies also tell me that their idle was raised as well when doing the seafoam.
Do you guys think that means I have a vacuum leak? I am lead to believe so but I wanted to see what you guys think.
I would say its normal. Esp. taking it off the brake booster, My vac line would pop loose sometimes and my car would die. So I would say its normal.

This might be an issue with those that have the cable throttle body and not the electronic. The 98 and earlier with the angled throttle body use an idle control valve up front. Mine would idle higher than stock but mine is a 2000.
