    Is there homemade mods I could do to my 3.4 to get a few more hp? Just wondering. Thanks

    you can rip our your air box, get a performace filter, and a metal tube from autozone, advanced, or even home depot, and put it all together to make a better intake.

      there are alot.
      homemade whisper lid, tb bypass, removing belt, front swingarm, etc.
      just search u'll find alot of stuff

          if you have a 5-speed, you can take out the shifter,chop a few inches off it and rethread it with a 3/8 pipe die, I did that with mine.
          while not a free mod the 3.4 dose respond well to underdrive pullys

            take out the air silencer and chop open your air box to allow more air to come in.

            What i did is i completly removed half of my air box and my K&N is just Zip Tied to the other half of the air box, sounds ghetto but you really hear it sucking in the air.

              lol. i cut that half out except the part with the clips to keep it from being ghetto. how did ya zip tie it?

                Mine may be homemade, but it looks far from ghetto. It actually looks like it was from some kind of company...I'll post pictures as soon as I charge my camera battery enough to take a picture. I'll show which pieces I took out too.
