  • hole in windshield fluid washer line...

There is a hole in my girlfriend's windshield washer fluid line in her cavalier.

Jsut had it in getting some stuff done, and saw if it was covered under her aftermarket warranty, and its not, GM's estimate to fix, a 1/4 in hole, in a washer fluid line... $124+tax...

    So gonna do it myself...

My thoughts, just cut the line, put abotu a 2-3in. long peice of hose, just bigger in diamter then the washer fluid hose, little dab of silicone sealant, on the insides, slip it in, and clamp it down with 2 hose clamps.

    any other ideas?

$125 to fix a little rubber tube? are they out of their minds?

that sounds like it should work. wouldn't hurt to try it.
