  • Is the v6 in our cars the L36?

Is the 3.8 Series II engine in my car the L36? I always thought it was but wanted to be sure. I need to know so I dont buy the wrong cam installation kit (gaskets).

Yes, but we have different intake manifold gaskets than FWD cars. So you will need to specify that its from an Fbody.

i had the front lower in take gasket and compard them to my stock head..... i think you could make the work but its just better to buy the right one's

let me clarify, this was for the NA FWD gasket not a L67 or GTP gasket.... i have not compared the SC gaskets only the NA FWD to RWD gaskets

lower intake is almost the same but still won't work some holes are lager in the head and the hole in the gasket is smaller. vary minor differeance but its still not right.

upper intake gasket are VARY different. the FWD cars have sqare ports and the RWD cars have oval ports...
