    Lean O2????????

    Sorry this post should have gone here first.

    I have gotten a couple of Left O2 Sensor lean codes?

    What does this mean? My MPG has gone to sh*t and I have a rough idle.......Is my O2 sensor going or am I really running lean....the SES code is infrequent, but the number on my scanner when I monitor the left sensor are much lower than the right.......

    Any help is appreciated.

    If the PCM thinks a bank is running lean due to a bad O2, wouldn't it attempt to add more fuel, making you run rich and killing gas mileage?

      Try running a couple of bottles of fuel injector cleaner through your system. Looking at your mods, I see no reason for you to go lean unless your'e not getting enough fuel from the injectors or the fuel pump. I guess that you can check your fuel pressure also.

        moving to general tech.

        This seems pretty basic problem diagnostic, mpg loss.

        I'm cracking down on non-advanced topics in advanced tech.. Seems as if it's gotten a little more lax in that section.
