Over here in Puerto Rico everybody is asking why am I spending money on the 3.4 engine they tell me that I better put a S10 4.3L if I want to ride hard what do you think???

Ive got 3.4 that I nstalled in my 83 S10 blazer 4x4 and a 4.3 in my 01 S10 x cab. the HP difference is only 20 hp but the torque is much better in the 4.3.
I think the 4.3s with CPI are pigs as far as mileage goes so if it were me I would find something to up the HP on the 3.4 and be happy.Comment

Is just that over here in Puerto Rico I dont know of any one who has tried to upgrade this motor. everybody is with the V8 or mustangs and I only want to beat them at the 1/4 mile.
over here its neither Hondas or V8 or rotarys
last week I saw a Honda Civic all motor 1.6 liter doing 11.6at the 1/4 mile and I was the only Camaro V6 doing 16.5Comment
