  • Air Bag Question?

Alright so we bought a 94 firebird that was hit in the right front and blew the air bags. We bought air bags off ebay and put them in and we haven't hooked up any of the wires to the air bags yet so they won't blow up. So my question is what do we need to reset or replace to hook the air bags up again to make them work again? We know there is a clock spring type thing in the center console and do we need to reset this or what? Is this something a guy could reset with a computer or is it the job up to the professinals? The senser up front was not hit or messed up during the crash.

i would have a pro do it, just because it is such an important part.

A dealership has to change that once it pops. And it is dangerous to have the one you have in there 'cause it can pop even tho it's not hooked up.
