I installed a Walbro this summer, and it worked fine initially, and "appears" to be working fine now, but...
When I turn the key on, and the pump primes, instead of the nice whine that I heard before, I'm now hearing a "whoosh" sound, like the pump is pushing air with the fuel.
I have also had problems with the car not starting right since just after the pump went in.
Sometimes it starts right up.
Sometimes it will turn over several times, then start right up.
Sometimes it will turn over several times, then stumble a few times, and then run up to idle.
Sometimes it will turn over several times, won't start, I'll back the key to off, and then try starting it again, and it will start right up.
Has anybody else had any of this with their Walbro? Thanks. John
