yesterday as i was turning right into a parking lot my car became extremely hard to turn. It has done this a couple times now, and its only when i'm braking. when i accelerate, it is normal. its not just like this on right turns, its left too. anyone know what the problem is? oh, btw, i checked my power steering fluid, its not too low or too high.

Power steering pump is dying/dead. Mine did the same thing. Yeah, I'd say your power steering went or is going down the crapper.
Mine is there now, but I've just been puting up with it, seems like if I have the rpms up some it helps to make the turning easier. I believe I was quoted $100 for a remanufactured pump from GM, but thats been awhile ago, not sure if its right.
BTW does anyone know if a bad pump can be really hard for the motor to turn, thus robbing power?\'95 Med.
