on my wifes 3.4 firebird today we were driving witht the air off and the windows down and heat was comming out of the vent on the dash and fogging up the windows really bad.the heat wasnt on. does anyone know what might be wrong? thanks.

Sometimes if the temperature is different from the outside to inside, condensation forms on the window. However, since you said you had the windows down, heat off, and you felt heat coming from the vents, it could be a leak in your heater core. This is a small "radiator" located in the car behind the dash used to heat the car interior.
Do you smell coolant? Is your coolant level low? These may confirm a leak.Dr Todd
