when to read gas guage??

the needle moves so much. to get the most correct reading, when should i read it? accelerating? parked on a flat surface? braking?

either parked w/key in on position, engine running or not, while driving at a constant speed, prefeably level, or when the car stalls for no appearent reason :eek: ;)

yeah that whole stalling thing.. thats when you need more gas..

honestly man.. just fill out at like 1/4 of a tank.. well, what the guage calls 1/4 of a tank.. thats what i do..

Speakin of gas gauges, why does the gas gauge drop so fast after like a 3/4 mark? I was so happy I had 150 gas saving pampered miles on 1/4 tank of gas but within 50 miles more miles it said i had barely half a tank. [img]graemlins/crybaby.gif[/img] Why does it do that?

the tank is shaped like V
so the lower on gas you get, the smaller the tank gets aswell, so that explains why gas gets used up faster when you get past the 1/2 mark [img]smile.gif[/img]

i know it's time to get gas when i start the car, and check gages stays on ;)
