My fuel pump is fine now, but eventually its gonna go and I need to know what pump I should put in, don't wanna shell out $200+ for a GM one but Im thinking that the walbro 255lph would be too much for the motor with just intake/headers/exhaust. I know at thunderracing, Holley makes 155, 190, and 255LPH fuel pumps, anyone know which is closest to the stock rating?

No it'll be fine for a stock motor. You still have a fuel pressure regulator that is going to limit the fuel getting to the motor, so if anything it might just run a little richer up top on a car that has the bolt-ons to need it. For a cheap replacement, that's the way to go!!www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

I wouldnt think it would matter to much, you still have a fuel pressure regulator that is going to keep it from getting to much fuel.

for your mods the factory pump should be just just fine (but not if you're going to add a power adder) ...your engine should have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the driver's side towards the back of the fuel rail...theres a torx srew on the back side of it the you tighten to increase fuel pressure..and loosen to decrease (thanks to malice for this info..i found it on my car)12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO
www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com
Best ET: 12.82@103
Best MPH: 104.7
Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC

quote:
Originally posted by Shodown:
1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said.
