I was talking to a friend today and he recomended I look into a computer chip for my engine, first of all where would I get one for a V6, everything I find is for a V8? and second what will it feel like? I dont want to spend $200 if I am not going to feel a noticeable difference.
Is this something that would plug into under the dash? I dont want to get too technical with it.
Thanks again
Chris

I take it that chip could be used in Camaro's as well? Seems like the benefits are better then the Jet Chip, except that the ASE one is about $200 more.

i was disappointed with my jet stage 2. after sending my 1st back for warranty replacement (kept setting MIL for trans slipping code) i installed the replacement and could tell little difference either in SOTP or on the watch. get more air in, reduce parasitic torque loss, and increase torque multiplication by gear reduction in final drive and you'll be happy.

exactly. that's all i saw with my autoxray and then at school with the tech2. you get maybe 5 degrees more timing advance under no load with the jet stage 2, and absolutely zero advance over stock when under heavy load (calculated load over 50%). spend the money elsewhere.

wait... so you guys are saying this ASE chip is no good? I have a '96 Firebird A4 with Y87. Will this ASE chip work on my car, and is it worth its price?
