the flat wound spring on mine popped off and i was wondering if there was any way to easily get this back on, or is there any way i could just replace the regulator without replacing the motor

Had that happen when I changed the motors on another car. Just got a piece of barstock and cut a slot in the end, and used it as a screwdriver to wind the spring back up. ;)Matt

then how'd you put it back on? it seems like there's not enough space to keep the spring wound up and put it back on teh regulator at teh same time...........did you take the regulator off the car first? how hard/dangerous is doing all this anyways? i don't wanna lose a hand lol2002 Pewter Metallic Pontiac Firebird<br /><br />Mods: 3\" Borla Catback Exhaust, SLP Cold Air Intake, Removed Air Silencer, K&N Filter....more to come.....hopefully...
