Faux Z-28

So me and my friends in my car club were looking at my Camaro the other night and they noticed my rear wheel Disc brakes and comment on how rare it is to see V6 camaro's with 4 wheel disc brakes in 1996.

I told them about the Y87 package on the car giving my car the Z-28 rear end, and Z -28 steering as well as Dual exhaust.

Anyway, we then discussed how my car has a black roof, mirrors and head light surrounds like a Z-28 too. I also have the T-Tops.

So heres my question to all of you on this site, is my car a basically a wanna-be Z-28 missing the motor and 6-speed tranny?

The only thing you forgot is the suspension. Brakes, steering, rear end are the same, the exhaust has dual outlet muffler but otherwise it's different (2 cats versus 1 on the V6), and the shocks and springs are different. So the short answer is no, it's not only missing the engine and tranny.
