• Engine Misfiring?

I'm havin some problems with my car...It rained here recently, and I hit a pretty good size puddle of water...but I dunno if that had anything to do with this, didn't start till after that. But it use to have a real rough idle, that has quit..oil pressure and etc dropped w/ the rpms..but that seems to have a cleared up...the car vibrates real bad at idle though, and around 12-1500 rpms..then randomly (usually at highway speeds) the car will begin to pulse in vibration. It also has a real bad unburned gas smell...No SES light on either. What can I do to fix this?

This has happened a lot to us F-Body owners. The plugs on the 3.8 are not routed very effectively and have a habbit of getting burnt or dried out. When mine did it, no SES light was set except for the EGR coge that I am too poor/lazy to fix. I would start by replacing your plus and wires. Wires I have found are around $60 and the plugs vary. Try to do them yourself, or have a buddy help you. I was too lazy and wasn't sure what the problem was and had it done by a Pontiac Dealership....well $400 later it was fixed, but for a minor tune-up that is rediculous.

Well, mines a 3.4, but I'm sure there isn't much difference. I've changed my plugs and wires before..they are just a pain. Course thats cause I did them all from the top prolly...and like 4 are suppose to be taken out from underneath anyway, thanks...Ill check that out...but first Im gonna see which hole(s) are missing, on the Engine Analyser...that way I dont have to pull all the plugs hehe..Guess I'm lazy too

make sure they are plugged in right then, go for the coils,w hich would suck if they were bad cause that is like 40 bucks for each.
