  • Why is my wiper about to fly off?

My driver side wiper goes past the A pillar when on high, or when making a left hand turn. I can actually see it out my side window. Why is it doing this? Is there a bolt or something to tighten up? You can hear it to scraping over the piller. Any help is appriciated. Thank you.

This happened to me last winter. I turned on my wipers when the blade was frozen down. It made the nut that holds the arm on, come loose. Made the wiper fly all over and not return to the home posistion.
Pop off the black cover at the base of the wiper and tighten the nut. Make sure the wipers are OFF first, and then place the wiper on the rubber stop. That way you are sure everything is in the right place.

thanks for the info guys. Sorry, I should have described it better. Just the top of the arm, maybe 3 inches actually goes past the pillar.
