  • Where is the PCV valve

    sorry if its a dumb q.... but i want to change my pcv valve and i can't seem to find it. I dont want to start pulling out hoses.

    a pic would be very helpfull if yall have any.

    also... does it need to lubricated or anything spceial while putting back the new one.

    its a 99 bird with auto

    No, you don't need to lubricate it.

      wow.. exactly what i needed.

      one last question.. when i unbolt the two screws... does the engine need to cool down before i do that.

        Doesn't really matter, it's just usually easier to work when it's cool. Just push down on the cap while you're removing the bolts, as the spring will try to push it up.
