    LT1 is a Small Block Chevy. What can't be done with a SBC???

    LS1 is a radical kick-@$$ design. What can't be done with a LS1???

    It comes down to price. You'll get 450 horses out of an LT1 a heck of a lot cheaper than an LS1.

    Also the EFI equipment on the LS1 I think is more efficient than the LT1. Both are rock solid dependable.

      Yes LS6's will work in Camaro's LS6's blocks came stock on most 2001 Z28's and on all 2002 and I'm sure that the same is true for TA's.

          LT5 is a wicked low production motor. You won't get one of those for the price of a brand new LS1 crate motor
