    I've heard almost equal opinions of jet chips either being very good or a complete waste of money.

    Could everyone that has one please vote whether you think it's good or crap? Please list your car and mods along with your vote.

    Depends on what you want for your car

    If you don't plan on any nitrous or forced induction, and have 93 octane gas in your area, jet chip is great.

    Definitely want to have a good exhaust for the stage 2 chip.

    W/ out the chip and with a cutout, I run 15.4
    W/ the chip and w/ out a cutout, I run 15.4
    W/ the chip and the cutout, I ran 15.095 very consistant

    I sold it though because I would like to move on to maft+ and other things. Maft+ can be better, if you can afford it, and autotap, and have a laptop, and don't mind playing with the settings some. If you want plug & go, then maybe jet chip is more for you.

    I like it, but I do not doubt that others have had bad experiences. I wouldn't get it if you are limited to 91 octane in your area.

        I like mine. You can feel it, except when the weather is real hot. My best guess is that this happens because your PCM retards the timing. Personally, if you're gonna be running a chip that advances the timing, I wouldn't want it any other way. It's a "smart chip" I guess. Can't wait to see what the chip does in the fall and winter.

          I must of gotten good results with it because I dynoed really well with it in. Note that I dynoed with out headers and a highflow cat which will definitely help out. The chip does it's job. It does run stronger in cooler weather but then again our cars are really sensitive to temperature. I would recommend it if you can get it used. I got mine for a steal of a price si it was a really good deal for me. Make sure you have an exhaust that flows well(catback,headers, so on..) and a good intake setup(FTRA,lid,so on...). You will get the most out of it if you have all the bolt on goodies otherwise I don't think it would do a whole lot. Give it a shot if you can find a good deal, I'm glad I did.                   Not much just the usual intake and exhaust mods, jetchip and 1LE trans mnt and driveshaft.

                  It ran 14.7 @ 95.5 mph with stock ignition and open-rear with stock 215s. I have a few ppl witnessed my time. [img]smile.gif[/img]
