what will happen if i remove my EGR

might sound like a stupid question, but do i need my egr and what will happen if removed.

i ask this because i saw some egr block off kits on ebay for a 93-95 camaro

was thinking of doing the same thing since my valve went bad and I don't want to spend the $125 on it. From what I have found, I will make your exhaust run hotter somehow, not sure, and it will lower your mpg. Other than that, I think it would be cleaner burning on your car since it wouldn't be recirculating fumes into your intake which would help keep buildup in your throttle body to a minumum

oh geez go to the junk yard and find one on a 3100 motor. kamaro1995 got me one for 20 bucks and it works flawlessly
